Independent learning instrument: an analysis of content validity through experts

This is a descriptive, non-experimental research, grounded on Hernández Nieto (2011) model to verify the content of an independent learning instrument for students from the National Center of Teacher and Mentor Training, Matagalpa. The empirical process of validation with five experts on the topic is presented in this research; each item’s content and relevance were independently assessed, contemplating criteria such as clearness, objectivity, consistency, coherence, suitability and adequacy. Every question block allowed for a reason of content validity result (CVCi) with 0.9266 as the highest value and 0.8533 as the lowest, 0.91 as the Content Validity Coefficient (CVC). Thus, the instrument was valued as excellent as it was in the range previously mentioned by the author.
