Cute School in Zelaya Central

This article shows information about three schools in Zelaya Central: School Center Horacio Aguilar Bucardo in the territory of El Rama, Cristo Redentor in Muelle de los Bueyes, and Rafael Rosales in Nueva Guinea, to assess the strategies applied to enhance the Pretty, Clean and Safe Schools Program in Zelaya Central schools on the first semester of 2022. The study population was students, parents, teachers and principals from the schools as they are the main actors for the fulfillment of this action plan created by the Ministry of Education (MINED) core strategy and tailored adjustments. The key outcomes were engagement of different brigades, cleaning of pedagogical scenarios and surroundings. Parent assemblies were carried out to oversee topics such as school snacks, school safety, among others. Results were positive with active participation from the educational community, embracing the program and the components, starting a culture of living well.
