Evolutionary Transformation of Education Overview of the subsystem of basic and secondary education

Education is in any country an essential component of human development process, along with health sports and culture. In the last years in Nicaragua is happening a novel experience related to restoration of education right, which nearer referent is the eighty decade in Nicaragua and the Cuban revolution. During the last four decades the country has experimented progress and set-backs in restorations of rights issues because of socioeconomic models that have prioritized the market and not to the human being. When The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity (GRUN) headed by The Sandinista Front of National Liberation (FSLN) assumes in 2007, The process of changing the neoliberal education model implemented in the nineties began, with the aim of integrating the Nicaraguan population as a protagonist in development plans, to counteract social exclusion, whose main expression is poverty. In this context the concept of Evolutionary Transformation of Education, is crucial for the new educative model, due to intend simultaneously reverse the effects of neoliberal educational policies while progressing in educational coverage and quality with equity and justice. This work reflects on the strategies for the reconstruction of national education, and the perspectives within a logic of human development, and other related topics.
